The mission of Five Star Tax & Business Solutions is to equip our clients to understand and play a positive role in their businesses' financial future. We simplify the financial process so that our clients understand their financial reports. This allows them to make better business decisions that will have a positive impact on their bottom line. We are committed to offering a superior service with personal attention. Each customer is treated like a unique person and not a number. It is our business to know our client’s business. We maintain an environment that allows everyone to feel comfortable regardless of their education background, financial condition, race, age, or sex.

Our President

Marquita Miller, B.S., M.B.A. (President): She has over thirteen years of accounting and tax experience in various industries. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting / Management from Park University and Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management of Devry University.

Marquita has worked with non-profit, technology, engineering, travel, financial, healthcare, and small business firms. She receives speaking invitations from numerous organizations. She is the host of a weekly small business radio show, “Market Place Ministries”. She serves as board member on several of her client’s organizations. She is very active in her church; member of Kansas City Chamber, Kansas City Kansas Black Chamber, Central Exchange; NAACP; and National Pearl Society.
